Southern Contracting Company is dedicated to its employees’ safety.

In 2003, Southern Contracting Company hired a full time Safety Director, added a New Employee Orientation training program, annual Safety Stand Down, and a safety incentive program. All this was added to an existing Safety program that included a safety council that meets every two weeks, weekly safety tailgate meetings, a written safety policy, a code of safe work practices, and rigorous training program.

Daily job site inspections are carried out by each foreman; jobs are inspected by the safety director and or the superintendents monthly.

Southern Contracting Company is continually improving and adding to its safety program. By doing everything we can to keep our employees safe, we have found it to be a benefit to all concerned, our employees, the company, and our customers.
