Southern Contracting is a General Engineering and Electrical Contractor, serving greater Southern California.  Headquartered in San Marcos, California, we serve municipal, developer and utility customers, providing a range of capabilities, including underground utilities, instrumentation, power systems, and sustainability services.

 

Our primary focus is on client satisfaction, delivering quality projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Industrial / Public Works

Today’s industrial and public works clients seek contractors who demonstrate proven performance, financial stability and sound management.  We demonstrate this through successful delivery of projects for waste water and potable water treatment facilities, pump stations, hydroelectric plants, power generation facilities and streetlight systems.

 

Developers

Contractors are not created equal.  Southern’s developer and utility clients rely on us for our underground dry utility services including subdivision electrification, 20A and 20B overhead to underground conversion, joint-utility trench construction, and applicant gas and electric installations.

 

Utilities

We also specialize in construction and maintenance of high voltage overhead and underground distribution systems, including transformers and substations.
